[00:00:22] Speaker B: Well, hey, friends, welcome back to another edition of the Weekday podcast. Thanks for hanging out with us today. One of the themes that has really overshadowed my life for the last decade is this idea that your story matters. And what I really do believe is that your story can change lives. In Genesis 50, verse 20, the Bible says this. As for you, this Joseph talking to his brothers, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good. To bring about that many people should be kept alive as they are today.
What's so interesting is that Joseph's story didn't just impact him, like his story literally saved an entire nation. And so here's my question. What if your story isn't just about you? What if your experiences, your struggles, and even your pain could be used by God to help someone else? Now, here's the truth. Your story has the power to shape someone else's destiny. Now, maybe there's someone in your life who needs to hear what you've been through, how you've seen God's faithfulness, how you've kept going, how you've learned to trust him. You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't need a perfect testimony. You just need to be willing to share how God has been at work in your life. Here's what I believe, and I'm going to say it again. Someone needs to hear your story. That's it. Someone needs to hear your story. So when I ask this question, who has impacted your journey? How did their story encourage you? Or how about this question? Is there someone in your life who might need to hear how God has worked in your life? Or what about this last question? How can you use your story to bring hope to others? Who's on your agenda today? Who's on your calendar today? Maybe God could use your story to bring hope. Heavenly Father, thank you for our story. Thank you for the story you're writing with our lives. God, would you give us courage to share it, even when it feels messy? God, would you use our experiences to encourage and to point other people towards you? And it's in Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. Have a great day. We hope to see you back here soon.
