[00:00:09] Well, hey, friends, I want to invite you, if you're in the Atlanta area, if you're in the Sugar Hill area, to join us in person this coming up Sunday, February 15th, for what we call Rock Sunday. Rock Sunday is every single year where we pick a word of the year. Now, typically, we do it at the end of January, but as you know, we had snow, we had ice, and so we were delayed a bit, but. But we cannot wait. And so today on the weekday podcast, what I want to do is to spend a few minutes each day this week and to do a series that's really designed to help you begin to identify the word of the year as we head to Rock Sunday. And so each day, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to give you a different category. I'm going to give you a scripture to help you to listen for what God might be forming in you. Now, you don't have to force a word. You're just beginning to notice what resonates. So today's category is intentionality. And today's scripture comes from Joshua, chapter three, verse five, where Joshua told the people, consecrate yourselves before tomorrow, the Lord will do amazing things among you. Now, in Joshua 3, there's this amazing miracle. But before the miracle, there was preparation. [00:01:15] Before the movement, there was intention. God invited his people to get their hearts ready before he moved them forward. And I think sometimes we want God to do something new with without taking time to prepare for it. Now, some of you don't need something completely different this year. You don't need a different life. You don't need a different word. Maybe what you need this year is a more intentional one. Intentional with your time, intentional with your attention, intentional with your walk with God. And so maybe that resonates with you. And if so, here's some words that might spark something for you. One is focused on what would it look like to give your attention to what matters most instead of living a scattered life? Or maybe your word might be something like discipline, Small daily choices that shape the direction of your life more than those big emotional moments. Or maybe you'd choose a word like purpose, that you're not here by accident, that God has direction for your life. Or maybe it's a word like consistency, showing up faithfully in the ordinary as it builds a stronger foundation. [00:02:18] Or maybe clarity, asking God to clear the fog and help you to see the next right step. Or maybe priorities, putting first things first so your life reflects what matters most. Maybe devotion, creating daily space to be with God, not just to work for Him. Or maybe alignment, bringing your calendar and your calling closer together. Maybe stewardship, managing your time, energy, and relationships like gifts. Or maybe simplify removing what clutters so that you can focus on what truly matters. And so today, as you think about this category of intentionality, here's the question. [00:02:52] Where do I need to stop drifting and start living on purpose? Now, you don't need to have the perfect word yet. Just start noticing what resonates. Start paying attention to what stirs something in you. And tomorrow we'll be right back here with another edition of the Weekday Podcast in another category as we think about what our word of the year is. Have a great day. We'll see you back here soon. [00:03:22] Sam.
