Pastor Chuck Allen here with another weekday podcast, and I want to speak to you today a little bit of what I preached on yesterday, which was, how do you find peace and life uncertainty? You know, friends, let me tell you something about peace in our world today. We are surrounded by chaos. Now, you don't need me to tell you that we know that the phone is always ringing or buzzing, your schedule's packed, the news cycle never stops and is rarely good. But I want to take you back to a young girl named Mary in Nazareth. Now, picture this. Mary's living her normal teenage life, when suddenly, wham. An angel shows up with news that's going to turn her wor radically upside down. She's going to have a baby. But not just any baby. The Son of God himself. Now that, my friend, is a bombshell. Imagine trying to explain that one to your mom. You see, what makes Mary's story so powerful isn't that she had all the answers. She didn't. But watch this. Her response shows us what real peace looks like. She said, I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true. Now, let me just break it down for you. Peace is not the absence of chaos. She had plenty of that. It's the presence of God in the midst of the chaos. Mary didn't understand it all, but she understood enough to trust the one who did understand it all. It's like a brother I know who lost his job right before Thanksgiving. You know what he says to me? He says, pastor Chuck, I shouldn't be. I should be panicking, but I'm not. And I said, well, bro, that's wonderful. Why? And he says, well, I've certain that God's got this and he's gonna carry me, and he's got something planned for me. You know, he had what Mary had. Not certainty about tomorrow, but certainty about who holds tomorrow. Here's the kingdom principle. When you can't trace God's hand, you can trust God's heart. Your situation might be uncertain, but, friend, your God never is. And he's always certain that he's for you and going to work things out for the good in your life as you continue to love him with all your heart. God bless you, friend. Find that peace today.
