[00:00:00] Foreign Chuck Allen here with another weekday podcast. And I want to thank you for joining me today. You know, there's this phrase that Paul writes in Ephesians, chapter 6, verse 12. He says, for we're not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Who. [00:00:26] That's some heavy stuff. But here's the thing about spiritual warfare, y'. All. It doesn't always look like demons with pitchforks or something out of a horror movie. More often than not, it's the quieter things. The thoughts that circle in your mind when you just can't sleep at 2am or the lies that are whispered into your heart. You're not enough. You'll never change. God has forgotten you, man. [00:00:47] See, that's where the battle takes place. The subtle weapons of darkness often look like fear and. Or shame or accusation. They often come with guilt. But the good news, Paul doesn't just talk about what we fight. He talks about what we get to fight with. You see, right before that verse earlier in Ephesians 6, he reminds us to put on the full armor of God. You say, well, Chuck, what is that? Well, I'd encourage you to read it, but it's truth and righteousness, peace and faith, salvation and God's word. Now think about it. Truth instead of lies, peace instead of fear, faith instead of despair. Spiritual warfare is less about screaming at the darkness and more about choosing to stand in the light. When you remember who you belong to, you're already winning ground the enemy has no right to hold on to. So what if today, when the lies begin to circle, you answer them with scripture? When shame says you'll never be forgiven, you say, so now, there's no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus, because you can read that in Romans 8:1. [00:01:48] When fear says you don't have a future, you answer. For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to give you a future and a hope, because you could read that in Jeremiah 29:11. When you feel weak, hold on to this from 2nd Thessalonians 3:3. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. Friend, this is spiritual warfare, choosing to believe what God says about you, no matter what lies come against you. [00:02:14] So put on that armor. Stand strong today, because you are not alone in the battle. I'm so glad you joined me today as we talk about spiritual warfare. Most of this week. I'll be back tomorrow as we talk about how do we stand strong in the storm. And in the meantime, share this with somebody that you know is in the thick of it today so that they might be encouraged with these words, you know, friend, God gave us his word so that we could rely on it and count on it when we needed it most, like today. So thanks so much for joining me. I'm so glad you joined me on the weekday podcast. And join me every day this week as we talk about spiritual warfare. God bless you. Bye now.
