Well, Nehemiah 2:20 says this. The God of heaven will make us prosper. And we his servants, we will arise and build.
[00:00:37] So today, I want to encourage you that your brick, it still matters. Sometimes you wonder if what you're doing really matters. You wonder if one prayer or one act of generosity or one invitation doesn't matter. Those things can feel small. But in God's story, no brick is wasted. Now, when you read the story, Nehemiah wasn't just stacking stones. He was rebuilding identity, rebuilding dignity, rebuilding faith. Because when you step out to serve, give, or lead, you're part of something that's bigger than yourself. Now, God doesn't need our resources, but he does choose to work through them. And so our obedience today becomes someone else's testimony tomorrow. Now, think about a bricklayer. Each brick seems insignificant, but together, they form a wall that can stand for generations.
[00:01:24] No single brick is the headline, but each one matters to the structure. And that's what generosity and prayer and service look like in the kingdom, those ordinary acts that build extraordinary impact. So this week, I want to encourage you to ask God, and as you go into the weekend, ask God a couple of questions. This big question is this. What part of the wall are you calling me to build? What part of the wall are you calling me to build? What's my part of this? And then I would encourage you to do one small thing that stretches your faith. Maybe it's to serve someone, maybe it's to give something, maybe it's to pray boldly. But each obedient step is actually a brick in the wall of something eternal. Now, God's vision, it always builds something that's lasting inside of us and also through us. So today, your brick does matter. Your brick really does matter.
