Thanks. We hope these next five minutes help you feel encouraged and inspired for your day.
[00:00:22] Speaker B: Well, hey friends. Today I want to remind you to remember the reason, I dont know if youve ever felt this way, where youve felt caught up in the season and the whirlwind and the spinning from one obligation to the next. Theres a chaos of shopping and cooking and attending events, and its easy to lose sight of what truly matters. But what if I told you theres a way to find calm in the middle of the storm? The apostle Paul reminds us of an essential truth. In two Corinthians verse five he says, for we do not preach ourselves, but instead we preach Christ Jesus as Lord and ourselves as your bondservants for Jesus sake. Paul's words can literally cut through the noise and point us to the heart of the matter, that it is all about Jesus. In the midst of all the preparations we have this season, we can easily slip into thinking that it's about us, that it's about our performance, our hospitality, our ability to create the perfect experience. But Paul's reminder shifts our focus back to where it belongs. So today I want to challenge you to pause and to ask yourself, how can I make this season all about Jesus? Whether you're planning a meal, whether you're in the gift buying season or attending a party, look for ways to reflect Christ's love. Maybe it means showing grace to a difficult family member. Maybe it's taking time to pray for the people you're buying gifts for. Maybe it's sharing the real story with a child about what this season is about, or inviting a lonely neighbor to your celebration. Remember, the pressure isn't on you to create the perfect season. Instead, your role is to shine the light of Christ in every single thing you do. And so, as you go through your day, I want you to keep coming back to this one little question. How can I make this about Jesus? Let that guide your actions and your attitude. Now, you might be surprised how it changes your perspective and even reduces your stress. The beauty of focusing on Jesus is that it frees us from the tyranny of perfection. We do not have to have it all together. We simply need to point others to the one who does. So today, remember, it is all about Jesus. Have a great day. We'll see you back here soon.
