[00:00:22] Speaker B: Well, hey friends, it's so great to have you on another weekday podcast. We're so glad you're here today. Today I want to think about this idea of forgotten but not forsaken. There's a school scripture in Isaiah 49, 15, 16 that says this. Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she is born, though she may forget, here's what God says. I will not forget. You see, I have engraved you on the palms of my hand. Now, chances are there's been a moment that you felt invisible. Like no one sees you, no one remembers you. Maybe you've experienced that awkwardness of waving at someone only to realize they're waving at someone else or being overlooked in a crowd. We've all had those moments where we feel like we've been forgotten. But the truth is, God never forgets us. His love is so deep that he's engraved us on his hands. In other words, we're permanently written into his heart. And so if you've ever felt unseen, remember today that God sees you. He knows you by name. And just as he's not forgotten you, he calls us to open our eyes to see those that fill feel invisible. The ones who may be struggling in poverty, loneliness or hardship. What if today. What if every single one of us made it our mission to see and to care who someone who feels forgotten today? Let's do that. Let's let people feel seen.
