[00:00:09] Well, hey, friends, welcome to Friday's edition of the Weekday Podcast. Because today, this is the culmination to say the signal, it was pointing here all along. In John 11, verses 25 and 26, Jesus says to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live even if he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this? So there's a question at the end of this week's anchor scripture that I think is the most important question we'll sit with all day. Jesus looks at a grieving woman and says, I am the resurrection, the life. And then he asked, do you believe this? Not do you understand it completely. Not do you have all of your questions answered? Not do you have a perfect know tidy theology. Just do you believe it? That's the question Easter leaves on the table. And here's what I've come to understand about that restlessness that we started the week with. That 2am ceiling stare, that low grade ache, that signal that keeps going off even when life looks good from the outside. That signal's not random. It's pointing somewhere. And it was pointing here.
[00:01:17] The resurrection of Jesus is not just proof that he. He was who he said he was, though, it's absolutely that. The resurrection is also an announcement that the sickness actually has a cure. The brokenness, it has a remedy. That the design God had in mind before anything went wrong hasn't been abandoned, it's been reopened. And the way back is simpler than you think. There's two movements, repentance and belief. Repentance just means turning around, away from the patterns that don't work towards God. And belief means trusting that what Jesus did is actually enough.
[00:01:52] Not when you've cleaned everything up, not when you've figured it all out, but right now, right where you are. And so if you still feel the ache today, you're not disqualified. You're exactly where the invitation finds you. Right in the middle of the story with the ending that's already secured. The tomb is empty, the design is restored, and the offer is still on the table. So today's step is to answer the question Jesus asked. Not out loud to anyone else, just honestly between you and God. Do you believe this? And whatever your answer is, start there. You didn't find your way here by accident.
