[00:00:00] Foreign. [00:00:13] Well, hey, friends, welcome back to another edition of the Weekday Podcast. It's so great to be with you. If you ever get behind, or if you ever want to dig into some other topics, feel free to go to weekdaypodcast.com we've got hundreds and hundreds of episodes, and our hope is always that they'd be encouraging to you. Well, today I want to read you Philemon 1, verse 15, where Paul says for perhaps, and I love that word perhaps. He says, perhaps it was for this reason that he was separated from you for a while, that you would have him back forever. I'm telling you, I love the fact that Paul uses the word perhaps. He's not making a bold theological claim. He's simply inviting Philemon to look at the story differently, to leave room for what I would call divine possibility. [00:00:53] Perhaps what looked like rebellion was really redirection. Perhaps Onesimus didn't just run. Maybe God was rerouting him to something better. And that raises the question for us. Could it be that the mess that we're in right now is not the end of the story? [00:01:09] Could it be that God is using even this to shape us, to grow us, and to lead us to something deeper? [00:01:16] Now, it's easy to view a setback as failure, but. But what if it's actually a setup? Sometimes our greatest growth does not come from our greatest successes. It actually comes from the breaking, from the confusion, from the I didn't see that coming moments. And that's the same that what happens when God met Onesimus in a prison cell. And he's capable of meeting us in our detour? Let me say it like this. The road may be unfamiliar, but the guide, he's still faithful. He knows what he's doing. And even if the road you're on isn't the one you would have chosen, God can still use it to get you exactly where you need to be. So here's the challenge today. Can you trust him with the Detour? Can you release your timeline, your control, your expectations, and believe that perhaps, maybe, perhaps that God, he's still doing something beautiful? My friend, what feels like a detour might be God's direct path to your destiny. Have a great day. [00:02:10] Sa.
