[00:00:00] Foreign. [00:00:09] Welcome to the Friday edition of the weekday podcast. Thanks for hanging out with us today. Today I want to think about this idea of letting your life preach. Letting your life preach. People don't usually trust what we say until they've experienced who we are. And that's why the early church didn't just proclaim a message, they actually lived it out. In fact, I heard on a podcast today, somebody said this line, they said, your actions spe so loudly that I cannot hear what you're saying. So there's something powerful about living what we say. We believe. When Acts 2, verse 47, it says they were praising God and they had favor with all people. And so the idea of today is the faith that you practice becomes the faith that people trust. That phrase having favor with all people doesn't mean everyone agreed with them. It means their presence was noticeable. In other words, their lives were credible. Their faith wasn't theoretical, it was practiced. And practice faith looks like everyday faith. It means like, showing up consistently, being the same person in private and in public, treating people with dignity, refusing to get, you know, outraged. [00:01:12] Choosing humility over superiority, staying patient when change is slow. Because here's the truth. Your life will preach louder than the sermons you listen to. When you practice your faith at work, your neighborhood, your school events, and even online, people begin to see something that sticks, steady, something that's trustworthy. So if you want to practice your faith visibly, I would say keep it simple. Here's a couple ways to do that. One is to be present, like your presence matters more than your perfection. Just be present. [00:01:40] Also, be consistent. Credibility is actually built over time. [00:01:44] Be humble. You don't have to act like you've arrived. Just be humble. And here's the last one. Be patient. God often grows the fruit in others very, very slowly. [00:01:54] Now, people often listen to the good news of Jesus after they've experienced the people who have said yes to the good news of Jesus. And so today, I would encourage you to pick one place to practice visible faith today. Maybe it's a conversation, maybe it's a workplace moment. Maybe it's an online interaction or even a neighbor. Check in. Show up, and show up calmly and show up humbly. Show up consistently and see what happens when your faith is lived out loud. Have a great day. We can't wait to see you on tomorrow's 9am Saturday prayer call and then in person on Sunday. Have a great day. We'll see you soon.
