[00:00:00] Foreign. [00:00:08] Pastor Chuck Allen here. And thanks for joining me on this Day After Christmas edition of the Weekday Podcast. And today I want us to talk about this one thought don't leave the miracle behind. [00:00:22] Christmas has come and gone. The wrapping papers in the trash, the leftovers are stacked high in the fridge. And maybe your soul feels a little quiet it today. [00:00:33] But hear me the story didn't end at the manger. The miracle didn't stop when the angel stopped singing. God is still working. [00:00:41] Matthew chapter 2 says this Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea during the reign of King Herod, about the time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose and we have come to worship him. [00:01:00] Now pause right there. The shepherds had gone back to their fields. The angels had returned to heaven. But far away, weeks, maybe months later, God was still guiding people toward Jesus. Do you see it? The miracle didn't end on December 25th. [00:01:16] There was a star still shining, and some people were still searching. [00:01:21] Sometimes we treat Christmas like a single event, a moment to celebrate and then move on. [00:01:28] But God is not seasonal. His presence doesn't clock out when the tree comes down. [00:01:34] Notice what the wise men did when they finally found him. Matthew 2:11 says this. They entered the house and saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold. [00:01:52] O friend, listen. [00:01:53] He is more than worthy of worship, both then and today. [00:01:58] So bring him your best self, bring him your worship, bring him your praise, bring him your adoration, bring him your gratitude, and bring him your challenges. Because the miracle is still at work. It never stopped just because we called Christmas yesterday. God bless you, friend. Thanks for joining me on today's weekday podcast. Sam.
