Hey everybody, and thanks so much for joining me on today's weekday podcast. In Mark's gospel in chapter 16, verse 15, Jesus says this. He says, he said to them, go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

You know, uh, growing up, my granddad owned a fish camp on the St. John's river in Astor, Florida. And I, I learned how to love fishing early. And you know, one of the things about fishing is you, you got to believe when you go out there, you're going to catch fish.

Confidence is the best lure in your tackle box. I mean, that, that, that's a phrase that, uh, you sometimes you don't hear much, but it's absolutely true. I remember hearing my granddad say that, and I've heard professional fishermen say that, that confidence is the best lure in your tackle box.

Believe that you're in the right spot at the right time, that you're fishing the best bait to catch fish, and that you're going to get a bite on the very next cast. That's, that takes a lot of confidence. I've, I've been out where we caught nothing and seemed like the whole day and we're ready to call it quits.

And pop would say one last cast and we catch a fish. And it was like, well, doggone it, we're good for the next 10 years, we're coming back. Do you have the confidence to believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay for your sin and walked out of the grave three days later to give me and you and all that would believe victory over sin and death? That is confidence.

That is why we're to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creation. We're to be fishers of men, that we're to really throw out one more time, one last cast, no matter how many times you've been blown off, believing that I know what Jesus has done for me. Our part is to believe and to repent of our sins and ask Jesus to come into our life, to come into our heart, to save us, to make him Lord of our life.

And he says that he will. Have you ever done that? And if you haven't, today would be that day. And if you have, then remember what Jesus said, go into all the world and preach the gospel.

He said, well, Chuck, I'm not called to be a preacher. Well, he's not talking to preachers, he's talking to regular people, just like me, just like you, to go tell the world, I know what Jesus has done for me and I want him to do that for you. And if you will trust him, he will.

You know what? Go tell someone, go out into the world. After all, this command is from the one who hung on the cross and walked out of the grave, Jesus, the Lord himself. Go into all the world, my friend, and preach the gospel to every creature.
