Thanks for being with us today. If you find these helpful, if you don't mind, consider sharing them with a friend. You can send them to weekdaypodcast.com and hey, if you're in the Northeast Georgia area, we'd love to encourage you to maybe check out a Sunday service with us. You can go to Sugarhill Church to find out more. Well, there's a little verse in 1st Peter 4:11 that says if anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies. Think about that phrase ability. So one of the questions people ask is how do I know what I'm supposed to do with my life? How do I uncover what God wants me to do? Well, here's one little question based on this verse. What is your ability? Now let me tease that out a little bit. When you think about it, what comes naturally to you? What is something that people consistently ask you to do? What is something that when you do it, it energizes you? What topics hold your attention longer than anything else? Those are things that point to your ability. And your ability is literally the roadmap to your destiny. Now, your unique skills and talents aren't random. They are intentionally placed by God to lead you to the work that he's called you to do. Those strengths are like breadcrumbs guiding you towards your purpose. Because here's the truth. God loves you too much to call you to do something without equipping you to do it. When you align your work with how God's designed you, it's life giving. But when there's a mismatch, it drains the life right out of you. What I found is that unfortunately, too many people feel stuck in their jobs and they don't fit their design. Studies actually show that only 13% of workers find their work truly meaningful. No wonder there's so many grumpy people on Highway 20 in front of the church. When your work doesn't align with your design, you feel out of place. But when it does, you'll thrive. Imagine the ripple effect of doing work that you love. Imagine what that would do for your health, for your relationships, for your joy. God wired you with specific strengths for a reason. Your job is to discover them develop them and use them in ways that honor him. Find something you're passionate about and do it so well that people will pay you for it. That's not just good career advice. That's part of God's design for your life. Your God given gifts. They are a compass pointing to your God ordained purpose. So what are you waiting for today? Start exploring your strengths. Trust the designer and step into the life that he's prepared for you. Have a great day and we'll see you back here soon. [00:02:50] Speaker A: Thanks so much for joining us today for the weekday podcast. Our prayer is that the encouragement you just heard would help you live more like Jesus today.
